Terms of Use

Pawprint is a digital diary for pets designed for personal use. The app is currently in a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) phase to validate the business idea. As an independent developer, I do my best to keep the app running optimally, smoothly and beautifully, but the service is provided “as is”, meaning technical adjustments, development updates or minor server interruptions may occur while the final version is being polished.

To keep server costs fair and sustainable, the app follows these usage rules:

Unlimited albums/diaries: all users (guest, free or premium) can create as many pet profiles as they wish. There is no limit to organizing your companions.

Monthly page limit (basic plan): users automatically start on the basic plan, which allows writing up to 20 memory pages in total per calendar month (split however you like across your pets) and attaching a maximum of 2 photos per page.

Premium features: the architecture includes a Premium state that unlocks unlimited monthly pages, up to 5 photos per memory and visual customization options. In this MVP phase there is no payment method or in-app purchase option; any assignment of Premium features is done exclusively, manually and promotionally by me for testing purposes.

If you use guest mode or don’t sync your data, you take responsibility for safeguarding your local memories by avoiding clearing the app’s cache, since data not backed up to the cloud cannot be recovered.

If a test account moves from Premium to the Basic plan, access to your past diaries or pages will never be deleted or blocked. All your memories will remain fully accessible and readable; the only change is that the account will again be subject to the 20 new pages creation limit during that month.

You agree to use the app legitimately. It is strictly forbidden to attempt to alter the app’s code, to reverse-engineer it to bypass the monthly page limits, or to upload images that infringe copyright or that are offensive or illegal. I reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules to protect the integrity of the server.

Since Pawprint is a living independent project, I may update these terms or the page-limit features to adapt to infrastructure costs. I will notify you of any important changes through the app or this web page.
